The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), the largest municipal utility in the United States, was established more than 100 years ago to deliver reliable, safe water and electricity supplies to some 3.8 million residents and businesses in the city of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power exists to support the growth and vitality of the City of Los Angeles, its residents, businesses and the communities we serve, providing safe, reliable and cost-effective water and power in a customer-focused and environmentally responsible manner.
