This competency-based course is designed to cover the principles and processes involved in double-entry accounting systems. It deals with accounting cycles and specialized accounting functions. It includes the use of calculators and microcomputers to process financial information and produce reports using appropriate software to develop electronic spreadsheets. The competencies in this course are aligned with the California high school academic content standards.

Free for Eligible persons: Unemployed, Veteran, Home Deprived, Single Mothers looking to work, Justice-Involved. Eligible people may receive help not only with training costs; but also with transportation, child care, and tools required for the job. You will need to contact your local AJCC to become eligible.
