Air Conditioning Technician (Course)

This competency-based course is designed to provide training in the refrigeration and air conditioning trade. It will concentrate on the commercial aspect of the industry. System fundamentals, troubleshooting, and repair procedures are emphasized in practical terms. This course also includes instruction in employability skills. The competencies in this course are aligned with the California high school academic content standards
Free for Eligible persons: Unemployed, Veteran, Home Deprived, Single Mothers looking to work, Justice-Involved. Eligible people may receive help not only with training costs; but also with transportation, child care, and tools required for the job. You will need to contact your local AJCC to become eligible.
Prerequisites
Enrollment requires completion of the air conditioning technician (fundamentals) (69-10-50) course, good physical condition for heavy lifting, and current California driver’s license
