The Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer (A.A.-T in Anthropology) is designed to prepare students for transfer into the CSU system to complete a baccalaureate degree in Anthropology. Please consult a counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Completion of the Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer (A.A.-T in Anthropology) degree also provides guaranteed admission with junior status to the CSU system, although does not guarantee admission to a specific campus or major. Upon completion of the Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer (A.A.-T in Anthropology) students will have an understanding of both the breadth and depth of the Anthropology discipline. This knowledge will be grounded in the comprehension of Anthropology principles, concepts, ideas, theories, research, and terminology. Students will also have the capacity to write and think in a critical and analytical way about issues pertaining to Anthropology and its application.
