This program is designed for students majoring in other fields who wish to broaden their experience in science or prepare for careers such as teaching, public service, or law. The minor requires 28 units in geology. Consultation with a department adviser is required. Students with majors in related physical sciences may substitute other courses with the approval of a department adviser.
