Auto Body Repair Technician (Course)

This program is designed for the foundation (NATEF) certification in auto body repair. It provides students with technical instruction and practical experience in structural analysis and damage repair of automobile using sustainable and green vehicle technologies. Instruction includes classroom and workplace policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. It covers the proper use, maintenance, and storage of auto body repair tools and equipment. Emphasis is placed on the techniques in the following areas of structural analysis and damage repair; frame inspection and repair, inspection/measurement/repair, fixed glass, and metal welding and cutting.
Free for Eligible persons: Unemployed, Veteran, Home Deprived, Single Mothers looking to work, Justice-Involved. Eligible people may receive help not only with training costs; but also with transportation, child care, and tools required for the job. You will need to contact your local AJCC to become eligible.
