The Biological Technician Associate in Science Degree is designed for students who wish to obtain the skills required to gain employment in bioscience and biotechnology industries, as well as for incumbent workers seeking career opportunities. Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to obtain employment as laboratory assistants, biomanufacturing technicians, or research and development technicians. A grade of C or better is required in each course. This degree requires 29-34 units in the major, in addition to other graduation requirements.
