The Cybersecurity Certificate prepares students to recognize Cybersecurity threats and implement procedures to protect computers, networks, programs and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change or destruction. It will also enhance students’ chances to pursue a professional career in Cybersecurity by preparing them for industry-recognized certificates such as ITF+, A+, Security+, and CySA+. To earn a certificate, complete the required courses as listed with a grade of C or better. At least 50% of all coursework must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 17 units.
