This competency-based course covers several phases involved in the minor structural repair of apartments and residential homes. This course also includes hands-on training in beginning cabinetmaking, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, finish carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
Free for Eligible persons: Unemployed, Veteran, Home Deprived, Single Mothers looking to work, Justice-Involved. Eligible people may receive help not only with training costs; but also with transportation, child care, and tools required for the job. You will need to contact your local AJCC to become eligible.
